Through regular conversations with residents here in Cambridge, we know you care a great deal about our local environment.

That’s why we've launched our campaign to involve local school children in an effort to plant 5000 new trees across the city.

Under our scheme, all Year 4 pupils would receive a young tree to plant either at home or in a public space. And the benefits are huge. Not only would it improve air quality, it will help educate our children about the need to go green and fight climate change.

But to achieve 5000 new trees we're going to need your support.

Please back our campaign by signing the petition below.

The more support among residents, the more likely it is that our tree planting programme will get the go ahead and we can start improving the local environment here in Cambridge.
