Cambridge steetlights survey

The County Council are proposing to turn off most of the streetlights in Cambridge between 12am and 6am, and are asking for residents' views on the plans. In Coleridge, this will affect every road apart from Cherry Hinton Road, Coleridge Road, Perne Road, sections of Radegund Road, and the junction of Davy and Rustat Roads.

The Cambridge Liberal Democrats are campaigning against these plans, which will make the city far more dangerous for cyclists and pedestrians late at night, especially for people coming back to Cambridge on the last train and faced with blackout conditions.

The County Council survey runs until the 11th December, and you can join our campaign against these changes.
