MP David Howarth will officially open the new office at 1 Wellington Court - just behind the Grafton Centre - at 11.15am on Thursday (April 1).

Residents are welcome to drop in to pick up leaflets, find out more about the Lib Dems' policies and talk about issues they would like the party to pursue.

On Easter Sunday, April 4 the office will be manned by Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate Julian Huppert who is inviting people to go along and meet him.

At other times, Liberal Democrat councillors and activists will be on hand to meet members of the public and help with issues.

Mr Howarth said: "I am delighted to be opening this new office and I hope people will make full use of it to find out more about the Lib Dems.

"This is also a chance for residents to talk about national and local issues which are important to Cambridge."

Julian said: "I hope people will see this as an opportunity to come and meet us. The Lib Dems are committed to working hard for Cambridge and we hope to build on the excellent work of our MP, David Howarth."
