Shirley Williams launches 2005 campaign to elect David Howarth4.26.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Sat 9th Apr 2005 Baroness Williams of Crosby launched the 2005 campaign to elect David Howarth as Cambridge's MP on Friday. The former Leader of the Liberal Democrats in the House of Lords spoke about the campaign and the party's increasing appeal, after having spent some time campaigning with Cambridge activists. Andrew Duff MEP chaired the meeting, which saw David Howarth formally adopted as the parliamentary candidate for Cambridge.
