Trumpington elects new Lib Dem Councillor

Liberal Democrats are celebrating Andrew Blackhurst's victory in the City Council by-election in Trumpington ward on Thursday.

Andrew won 51.4% of the vote, ahead of the Conservative candidate with 37%. Labour came third with only 6.5% of the vote.
