URGENT TALKS NEEDED WITH PCT SAYS CAMBRIDGE MP12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Fri 23rd May 2008 Cambridge MP David Howarth has called for urgent talks with the Cambridgeshire PCT following the decision of Sue Ryder Care to pull out of negotiations to set up on the Brookfields site. Mr Howarth commented: "This is a disturbing development. I am very worried that the PCT will revert to its initial plans to close Brookfields altogether. I have asked the PCT's chief executive for an urgent meeting so that he can clarify the situation." ENDS Notes to Editors 1) David Howarth MP wrote to Chris Banks, PCT chief executive, on May 23.
