From 1st December 2014 County Highways will begin a £1 million scheme to replace Brasley Bridge, C201, Mill Way, Granchester. The proposed works follow a structural assessment of the Bridge which identified a number of issues.Read more
North Newtown residents have reason to celebrate with the return of Post Office services to Trumpington Street on 13 November. The “new” branch will operate from the convenience store at 2a Trumpington Street. Post Office services will be offered from a till on the shop counter (albeit in an open plan environment), which means customers will be able to carry out a wide range of Post Office services alongside retail purchases. Post Office opening hours will mirror the existing business – Monday to Friday 06.30 to 19.00, Saturday 06.30 to 17.00 and Sunday 07.00 to 16.00.
This is excellent news after the many closures of previous years.
