Cambridge Liberal Democrats have launched their campaign for the local elections on May 2nd with a bold plan for a Cleaner, Greener, Fairer Cambridge.
The city’s growth brings many benefits, but it also brings pressures, whether it’s from air pollution and congestion, carbon emissions or the cost of housing.
Together with many in Cambridge, we demand better – and our City Council manifesto includes our proposals to make ‘Cleaner, Greener and Fairer’ the council’s central mission.
Lib Dem leader Cllr Tim Bick says:
“People are wondering what the Labour council’s priorities really are, after their charges on disabled people using Shop Mobility; after investing in a Haverhill B&Q store instead of housing in Cambridge; and after costing us £750,000 for losses in its entertainment service.
“Our plans get the council back to an agenda for the benefit of all of Cambridge”
