April 16 - Introduction to campaigning

New to campaigning, but want to help get Julian re-elected?

Then come along to our introduction to campaigning session.  With the election looming, there is no better time to throw yourself into Julian's campaign to help get him re-elected on May 7.

April 16, at 6pm we will be running a session out of our Volunteer Hub: 14 Signet Court, Swann's Road, CB5 8LA

The session will run in two parts. At first we can discuss our campaigns strategy and messaging we are using here in Cambridge, before moving onto technique we use on the doorstep. Once everyone is feeling well prepared and confident we will head out as a group in Abbey Ward.

It would be super if you could join us, between now and May 7 we are building up momentum day on day. In September last year the Lord Ashcroft Poll had us trailing Labour by 1%, although the latest projection has Julian just with his nose in front - by 200 votes.  This election really is on a knifes edge.

If you are interested please do come along and get some door step canvassing experience - it really is the most valuable thing any volunteer can do. Everyday matters now and time spent talking to the electorate is incredibly important to our potential success in Cambridge.
