East Chesterton Residents' Parking proposals

The Labour/Conservative run City Deal is pushing the addition of residents', or controlled, parking zones across the City.

The Liberal Democrat approach is to work with residents to let them decide IF they want resident zones:  we want to find out what you want us to do at this early point based on the initial shape of the zones:

You can see the zones covering East Chesterton in the google map link above:  numbers 22, 23 and 24.

A "zone" will have the same set of restrictions, and if those include resident only bays, these will be accessible by any residents within that zone.

We've produced an FAQ you can read here:  http://bitly.com/parking-faq

The City Deal has also produced an FAQ here: https://www.greatercambridge.org.uk/transport/transport-projects/city-access/residents-parking-schemes/

How do you want to proceed with the Labour run City Deal proposals for residents parking?

How parking controls are designed vary across the city, so it's likely we'll organise workshops, but equally you might want to tell us that you don't want residents parking in your street, or you want any form.
Can we keep you updated?

If you submit this form, the Liberal Democrats, locally and nationally, may use information in it, including your political views, to further our objectives, share it with our elected representatives and contact you in future using any of the means provided.
