Ahead of his visit to Cambridge Central Library on Saturday 12th November, David Howarth, MP for Cambridge, praised the library for its introduction of new services for Cambridge residents such as the People's Network services launched in October.
Commenting on his visit, David said,
"In times when the Library Service faces a very tough financial outlook, I am glad that there is still some good news to report.
"I will be very interested in seeing how the People's Network service works, but I am also very interested in the more traditional aspects of the Library's work and look forward to talking both to staff and library users of all ages."
During his visit, David will undertake a behind-the-scenes tour of the library and its new facilities and will also sit in during Children's Storytime.
