Cambridge MP Julian Huppert will be feeding the tigers at Shepreth Wildlife Park on Wednesday (August 4) to support an international conservation effort.
He will visit the Royston park to take part in the annual Tiger Day which raises money for wild tiger conservation.
Tiger Day celebrates resident tiger Amba's 12th birthday and raises money for the wild tiger charity 21st Century Tiger. The event has been held for the last five years raising more than £16,000.
Julian said: "I am nervous about going into the tiger enclosure especially at feeding time; but it's for such a good cause that I am prepared to risk it. And I am delighted that I have been invited to give my support to such a worthwhile event.
"Shepreth Wildlife Park does a brilliant job in giving people the chance to get close to animals and learn more about them while at the same time raising money for conservation.
"Without their help and organisations like them, many species would be lost forever. The number of tigers in the wild is falling and if we don't protect them, they could be extinct in a relatively short period of time."
