MP Julian Huppert will take a break from the day job tomorrow (Thursday, August 5) to become a punt operator on the River Cam.
Julian will set off from Trinity Punts to take a trip along the river to fulfill an auction promise.
He put his punting skills up for auction earlier in the summer at the annual Garden Party organised by the city's Liberal Democrats.
Member, Eve Corder was the winning bidder and she will sit back and relax tomorrow while Julian keeps his promise.
He said: "I have loved being on the river ever since I was a child so I couldn't think of a better way to support the auction than by offering my services as a punt operator.
"I'm looking forward to an afternoon's boating and I hope Eve will relax and enjoy the trip."
