Councillor congratulates Queen Edith's

The Queen Edith's Federation, Queen Edith's head, Caroline Peet and all their supporters have been congratulated by Cambridge City Councillor Amanda Taylor in their successful bid to run a new primary school in Gunhild Way, Cambridge.

Cllr Taylor, who represents the Queen Edith's ward, said she is delighted by the county council's decision to back the project.

"This is great news," said Cllr Taylor. "The Queen Edith Federation Group has worked so hard to put together this bid

"The 300 plus signatures show what incredible support they have from local parents.

"This is a much-needed school for this area and I am confident it will be an excellent school.

"I cannot thank everyone enough for the support and enthusiasm they showed for this project."
