HuppertMP Julian Huppert is to visit Cambridge City Radio on Monday (October 25) to mark its first six months.

During his visit Julian will be interviewed on the key issues facing Cambridge in the year ahead.

Cambridge City Radio, based in Citylife House in Sturton Street, is manned by volunteers and began broadcasting digital programmes on May 1 from three state-of-the art studios. It will broadcast on FM in December to coincide with the city's Mill Road Winter Fair.

Julian said: "As broadcasting moves into the digital age, I am delighted to support this new community initiative and wish the station every success in the future."

Station Manager, Brian O'Reilly said: "We are delighted that Julian has found time in his busy schedule to visit the station and give us his support. This is an exciting new station and our volunteers have worked hard to make it part of the community."
