Youngster has designs on MP's Christmas card

Jodie Gatelet's winning design
Cambridge youngster, Jodie Gatelet, beat hundreds of other schoolchildren across the city when asked to come up for a winning design for MP Julian Huppert's Christmas card.
Jodie, 12, from Coleridge Community College took first prize with her design of a snowman punting on the river.
Tomorrow (Friday, December 17), she will receive a prize and a certificate when Julian drops into her school to say a personal 'thank you'. Runner-up Qew Li will also be presented with a certificate.
Julian said: "I was extremely impressed with the standard of artwork on the wide range of ideas I received. We are so fortunate to have a wealth of artistic talent in the city.

Kew Li's design
"I particularly liked Jodie's design because she captured the essence of Cambridge and combined it with a typical Christmas image. I hope she will continue to work on her art because she is clearly talented."
