Cambridge MP Julian Huppert is keeping up the pressure for the city’s new Science Park Station at a meeting today (Monday, November 11) with the new Lib Dem Transport Minister, Baroness Susan Kramer.

Julian called the meeting, which will also be attended by Graham Hughes, Cambridgeshire County Council Director of Strategy and Development to make sure the station stays at the top of the government’s agenda.

He said: “We have worked long and hard to get this station for the people of Cambridge and I want to make sure that everyone who has influence over this project knows just how important it is.

“This station will unlock potential in the city by easing traffic congestion and allowing companies to expand and grow while encouraging new companies to come in. It brings so many benefits for our economy and I want to make sure this project continues to progress.”
