The North Area includes Arbury, East and West Chesterton, and Kings Hedges, and has an active Lib Dem team. See our blog below for what we've been doing for your area recently!
Further to http://www.cambridgelibdems.org.uk/when_is_a_ticket_to_london_not_a_ticket_to_london and a number of emails with customer services at Abelio, I'm really pleased to say that significant improvements have been made to the ticket terminals.
The in station booths now warn you when selecting Greater Anglia tickets with a pop up and are clearly marked.
Unfortunately, Network Rail's journey planner doesn't make it clear, something I've taken up with them.
Recently I (Chesterton Cllr Ian Manning) became aware that residents nearby were to have parking restrictions – but that their Labour Councillor hadn’t asked them. I put a stop to this as the area came within my Chesterton County division.
Separately, Labour Councillors have marked your area to get restrictions: so our activist Jamie Dalzell is really keen to check you are aware, and aware of what form they will take.
Further to the work I've done with residents (including 3 meetings, 2 complete letter drops of the estate and a survey) I'm pleased to announce there is progress on the proposals for parking restrictions that Labour Councillors were keen to push through.
I hope residents agree that I have ensured that they've been listened to and have worked with them to achieve a sensible way forward.

This FAQ was originally created off the back of meetings held specifically for the areas of Chesterton County Division north of milton road (the Hurst park Estate and surrounds).
The original list of questions came from a meeing I held with residents of the area above, hence some of it is specific to that area; I've now added specific questions relevant to other areas.

A reminder that I'll ( Cllr Manning) be running a workshop on parking controls for the Chesterton area North of Milton Road from 1800-2000 on Wednesday at Milton Road Lilbrary.
Please let me know if you are thinking of attending, or you wish to be kept updated.
All residents are welcome to attend: worth noting that I'll be starting from a blank canvass, rather than starting with the Council officer drawings, as a result of feedback from my FAQ meeting last week.
I'll publish a copy of FAQs from the meeting last week later tonight.
