I've been asked about the resident parking situation in West Chesterton a few times recently, so this post just serves as a reminder of the current situation, after the Conservatives on the County council blocked all progress.
The latest point we got to with the parking is still this, and then all work was then blocked by the Conservative Group on the County, for a year from 10th March 2020: https://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/news/cambridge-news/residents-parking-roll-out-suspended-17923433
I'm sure you're aware how many hours I spent working towards the compromise option, so you can imagine how furious I was, but I can't do anything about it now as we were outvoted at the committee meeting.
