    Anti-Brexit Bus

    bus_in_cambridge.png

Cambridge LibDems, coordinating with other local remain groups, invite you to greet the anti-Brexit bus tour on Monday at 3pm on Queens Road near Queens College coach lay-by (Google Maps).

The big yellow bus with it's rather direct message of resistance to Theresa May's dreadful Brixit Withdrawal Bill has been touring Britain ahead of the critical vote in Parliament on Tuesday.

This will be a light-hearted event featuring some of the best known faces of the youthful Remain campaign, including EU Supergirl (a.k.a Madeline Kay) and Faux BoJo (a.k.a Drew Galdron).

We hope to see many of you there. This event has drawn a lot of press interest so please bring your EU flags and a good sense of humour!

Our Annual Conference of Liberal Democrats in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough returns once again to last year's venue, Histon Baptist Church.

We are delighted to be able to announce the first of our speakers at the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Liberal Democrats Annual Conference on 26 January 2019.  Professor Dame Carol Black (Principal of Newnham College, Cambridge) and entrepreneur and telecoms expert Dr David Cleevely will be speaking to us about the report of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Independent Economic Commission, on which they both sat.  This report will be key to the future shape of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough for the next 25 years and beyond, and we are thrilled to have them with us.

There will also be a training and development programme, with contents to be advertised shortly.

The cost of £25 will include lunch, tea and coffee throughout the day, and access to all sessions
